How to attempt this IIT JAM test
IIT JAM gives you three hours for 60 questions in three formats — MCQ, MSQ and NAT. Spend the first pass on the 1-mark questions, keep MSQs for when you are sure of every option (there is no partial credit), and leave NAT questions for a calm second pass since they carry no negative marking.
- Attempt it in one sitting with the timer on. Do not pause to look things up.
- Use Mark for Review on questions you want to revisit instead of spending too long on them.
- After submitting, open the solution for every wrong and every guessed question.
- Retake the questions you missed a few days later to check the concept has stuck.
